Post-Christmas Tarak Range-Mt. Samat traverse

At 1,130 masl, Tarak Range in Bataan was recipient of a post-Christmas climb on December 26-27 by three LOGSAC members Danrev Broñola, Irvhin Joy Alcoriza and Noel Bartolome. This climb was part of their one week Luzon getaway which also included a Batangas beach tour.

According to Papong, Tarak Range is a good minor climb destination featuring beautiful mountainscape and cold weather brought by strong wind. The scenic view of Bataan and other parts of Luzon are visible especially in the evening that also adds flavor to this mountain.

After their decent from Tarak, the group traversed the historic mountain in Pilar – Mt. Samat.
