The Woodlands has Boulders, too

Want to get some adventure bit while staying in a resort with a culture and leisure themes, why not visit Ang Tribung Bagobo Woodlands Resort? In my last visit to this emerging destination in Binaton, Digos, the management of  ATBW recently added an option activity featuring its huge boulders situated in a dead creek some 500 meters away from the resort center. By trekking  this woodlands boulders (I christened it personally) is a taste of adrenaline in a tranquil location, enough for everybody to take a sweat experience.

On Friday (May 7) I visited ATBW with Lito and Jonas and it allowed us to discover this trail as earlier introduced by Ate Nene Abajero. The trekking starts in a downhill stairway all the way to the dead creek. As Lito would put it, the boulders there could be a minor bouldering area where one could vault from one cobblestone  to another. The rock formations are steadily laid out just enough for the visitors to also do selfies and groupies with weathered rocks as background distinctively sculpted by nature and pedicured by time.

During rainy days, the area hosts to a beautiful cascading waterfalls that gushes through the creek. It is a tributary to a major river system in Digos City, Napan River I believed, because the direction goes southward just underneath the towering Mt. Tampurong.

Your adventure to this boulders will be concluded with an uphill trekking back to the resort.

For a resort nestled in the middle of a tropical rainforest, there is indeed unlimited opportunities to be explored. Nature, therefore, is limitless and the only border is our imagination. To the management of ATBW, the boulders is another alternative for your visitors to take. It will surely add flavour to the existing features of the resort which includes the diverse flora and fauna, the fireflies and the swimming pool, to name a few.
